Psychology as a profession has found its way into many aspects of our lives which includes our places of work. The field of psychology which specialises in studying, analysing and understanding human behaviour in the workplace is Industrial/Organisational Psychology. But how does psychology as a practice and discipline function within the workplace? In this episode we are joined by Lebogang Tau is a Master of Social and Psychological Research student at the University of the Witwatersrand.
About Our Guest
Lebogang’s research focus is rooted in Organisational Psychology and his interests lie in employee wellbeing, creativity and innovation in the workplace and most recently, the effects of COVID-19 induced remote working on employee wellbeing and burnout levels.

This episode will in part address the kinds of challenges which exist within these two separate worlds and how they are integrated to create a balanced and fulfilling workspace.
He worked as a Business Support Analyst at a bank. He oversaw key employee wellbeing initiatives, implemented training interventions and co-ordinated ad-hoc projects geared towards improving performance and wellbeing. He is currently employed as a Root Cause Analyst
